Primary Teacher – Flexible Day-to-Day to Long-Term Roles
Dorchester & Surrounding Areas | Paid to Scale
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher to support our partner schools in Dorchester and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is open to starting on day-to-day supply, with strong potential to move into a longer-term or ongoing role as the right opportunity becomes available.
We work closely with a large number of friendly, well-supported primary schools across the Dorchester area, giving you access to a wide range of placements and the chance to find the perfect long-term fit.
The role:
Teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on your preference and experience)
Delivering engaging lessons and maintaining positive classroom routines
Covering short-term and day-to-day work while exploring long-term opportunities
Building strong relationships with multiple schools in the area
Paid to scale for longer-term placements
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds QTS and has strong classroom practice
Is flexible, proactive and confident working in different school environments
Is comfortable taking on day-to-day supply initially
Is open to driving/commuting to schools around Dorchester to maximise opportunities
Enjoys meeting new teams and quickly adapting to different routines
Is ultimately seeking a long-term teaching role with room to settle and make an impact

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
