KS1 Teaching Assistant (Level 3)
Location: NG21
Pay Rate: £105–£115 per day
Working Pattern: Part-time | 2–3 days per week (ad hoc)

Class Mate is seeking an experienced Level 3 KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the NG21 area. This part-time, ad hoc role is ideal for someone flexible, proactive, and confident supporting learning across Year 1 and Year 2.

This position is ongoing and will involve working 2–3 days per week, depending on school need. If you enjoy variety and thrive in supportive KS1 classrooms, this is a brilliant opportunity to make an impact.

Role Responsibilities

  * 

    Provide high-quality support across KS1, working with groups and on a 1:1 basis.

  * 

    Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy tasks.

  * 

    Support children with additional needs, helping to remove barriers to learning.

  * 

    Prepare and organise learning resources as directed by the class teacher.

  * 

    Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

  * 

    Maintain a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

    Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential.

    Strong recent experience within KS1.
