SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
 Area: Croydon, South London
 Start Date: ASAP
 Contract Type: Permanent
 Salary: 29k to 32k per anum, based on experience

Brief description: Support pupils aged 5-11 with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and Social Emotional and Mental Health(SEMH) needs across an Ofsted 'Outstanding' all-through setting. Permanent Contract for January 2026

About the role: Assist pupils with special educational needs, providing tailored support in class and during activities.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

Work closely with teachers to implement learning plans
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Support emotional and social developmentRequirements - The ideal candidate would have:

Experience working with SEND pupils
Strong communication and patience
Understanding of safeguarding practices
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
