Early Years Teaching Assistant (Deptford) | Jan Start | Long-Term

Are you an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term position in Deptford? This warm, community-focused primary school is seeking a confident, proactive, and compassionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team from January, with trials taking place next week and the first week of January.

In this long-term Early Years Teaching Assistant role, you will support the class Monday to Friday, with Mondays and Fridays dedicated to covering the class. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Early Years Teaching Assistant who enjoys taking initiative and is comfortable leading learning when needed. Someone bold, courageous, and confident in behaviour management and classroom routines will thrive in this role.

The school is specifically looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant with strong EYFS experience, as understanding child development, phonics, early learning goals, and play-based provision is essential.

Have recent experience working in Nursery or Reception

Are confident covering the class and leading activities independently
