Sports Coach Wanted – Teaching Assistant Role in Bridgend!

Location: Bridgend
 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-time available (via Teaching Personnel)
 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
 Start Date: As soon as possible

A vibrant SEN provision in Bridgend is seeking a sports-minded Teaching Assistant to bring their coaching skills into the classroom. ‍♂️ The Role:

As a teaching assistant you will:

Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs both in the classroom and outdoors.
Assist teachers with lesson delivery.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Be a positive role model for pupils aged 7-18 with complex behavioural needs.
✅ Ideal Candidate:

Background in sports coaching, youth work, or physical education.
Experience working with children or young people, especially in behaviour support.
Strong communication skills, resilience, and a collaborative mindset.
Calm, patient, and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
