Teaching Assistant – Urmston (Primary School)

Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom? Do you thrive supporting children and helping them reach their full potential?

TeacherActive are excited to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Urmston, who are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment where staff are valued and pupils are encouraged to succeed.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support learning
Assisting with literacy and numeracy interventions
Helping to manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting children with additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working in a UK primary school (essential)
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Childcare qualification (desirable)
Strong behaviour management skills
A proactive, positive and flexible attitude
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
