Role - SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant 
Sector - Primary School (Hounslow)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting a child with additional needs on a one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both in and out of the classroom
Adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of the child
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support strategies
Support the child’s academic, social and emotional development
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Assist with personal care where required (if applicable)
Monitor progress and contribute to reports and reviews
Build strong relationships with parents/carers and external professionals 
About You

Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, or SEMH)
Patient, nurturing and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to use initiative and adapt to changing needs
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential
A commitment to inclusion and helping every child achieve their best
