SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students both academically and socially, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support students in achieving outcomes that are in line with, or as close as possible to, those of their mainstream peers.
Create a positive, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Deliver high-quality support tailored to the individual needs of students with autism.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and encourage their personal development.
Remain proactive, adaptable, and resilient when managing challenging situations.
Work closely with teaching staff and specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Be prepared for an active role, supporting students throughout the school day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
