Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Reception Class
 Location: Denton, Tameside
 Start Date: After Easter Break
 Pay: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour (6.5 hours per day)
 Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (with potential to become permanent)

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Denton who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support within a Reception class.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing Early Years setting where you will play a key role in supporting pupils at the very start of their educational journey.

The Role

Supporting teaching and learning within a Reception classroom (EYFS)

Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions

Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy development

Supporting children with varying needs, including SEND

Helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment

Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Has recent experience working within EYFS / Reception

Strong understanding of phonics and early years development

Confident supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis

Positive, nurturing and proactive approach

Good behaviour management and communication skills
