Primary SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Gateshead
 Start Date: April 2026
 Salary: £500 - £600 per week
 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

You'll play a key role in transforming the lives of students with diverse needs, working closely with both the classroom teacher and your students to create an environment where they can truly flourish.

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, enabling them to engage meaningfully in lessons and activities.
Assist in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons tailored to the students' needs.
Encourage social, emotional, and behavioural development, acting as a role model and fostering positive relationships.
Use your creativity and passion to help students build confidence and become more independent, inside and outside the classroom.What You'll Need to Apply

Enhanced Child Barred List DBS check registered with the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
