Job Description

Now Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated learning mentor for an Alternative Provision in Nuneaton catering for 6-11 year olds.

This role has huge potential to go permanent, whilst with the agency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a learning mentor in secondary schools.

Responsibilities:

  * Provide 1:1 and group support to key stage 1-4 students in need of learning mentor

  * Help develop strategies to overcome learning barriers

  * Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience

  * Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in school life

  * Have excellent behaviour management

Qualifications:

  * Proven experience working with SEN

  * Experience within a similar setting

  * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  * Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational trends
