Technical Manager
Leading UK Food Manufacturer
Greater Manchester

£70,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We are partnering with a leading UK/EU food manufacturer to appoint a Technical Manager for a flagship site. This is a senior role with real influence — responsible for driving food safety, quality standards, and technical performance across the operation.

You’ll lead the Technical, QA and Hygiene teams, strengthen systems, and ensure the business consistently meets retailer, regulatory and customer requirements while building a strong food safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Lead site food safety, HACCP and Quality Management Systems

  * 

    Manage BRCGS, retailer and regulatory audits

  * 

    Oversee QA and Hygiene teams and develop technical capability

  * 

    Drive continuous improvement and robust corrective actions

  * 

    Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and customer standards

  * 

    Report technical performance and KPIs to senior leadership

About You

  * 

    Senior technical / quality experience within food manufacturing or FMCG

  * 

    Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and retailer standards

  * 

    Experience leading technical and QA teams

  * 

    Confident managing audits, compliance and customer expectations

  * 

    Practical, hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving ability
