Technical Sales Account Manager

12 Month Contract

Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

£18.27 - £21.63 per hour

Henderson Brown is partnered with a leading Water Technology company who are looking to add to the team for a 12 month contract. Please note this role has the potential to go to a permanent role after 12 months.

As a Technical Sales Account Manager you will be expected to own the after-sales, retrofit and revamping order cycle from quotation through to order acknowledgement and delivery updates. You'll hit assigned order intake targets, drive customer satisfaction, and act as the commercial hub between customers and internal teams including Proposals, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain. Role based in Tamworth Staffordshire.

Responsibilities Technical Sales Account Manager 

Manage the full after-sales/retrofit/revamping sales order process.

Prepare and issue quotations and acknowledgements of order; keep customers informed on order status and delivery timelines.

Work to assigned order intake targets for retrofit and revamping activities and contribute to overall aftermarket revenue growth.

Collaborate with Proposals, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to secure accurate cost estimates and realistic lead times.

Represent the company at trade exhibitions, customer events and product demonstrations as required.

Maintain high standards of data quality and compliance in CRM and SAP and adhere to all company policies.

Experience Technical Sales Account Manager

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in inside sales, proposal engineering, or aftermarket/retrofit sales within an industrial or technical environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).

High proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems and SAP.

Resilience and professionalism, able to handle objections and rejection while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Must be a commutable distance from Tamworth, Staffordshire.
