Vehicle Technician

Location: Exeter 
Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic | OTE £40,000 
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week | Saturday Mornings on a Rota 
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role 
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include: 
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs 
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults 
·Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work 
·Achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis 
·Following manufacturer and health & safety procedures 
·Maintaining workshop equipment and a safe working environment 
·Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture 
·Speaking with customers where required to assist with technical explanations 
·Ensuring every vehicle is treated with the highest level of care

About You 
You'll ideally have: 
·NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair 
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician 
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability 
·Excellent attention to detail 
·Full UK Driving Licence 
·MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential
