VEHICLE TECHNICIAN 
Location: Newcastle 
Salary: OTE Up to £39,730 (Uncapped) | Basic Salary £31,000 - £34,000 (Depending on Qualifications) 
Hours: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm 
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

·PDI Technician - £36,655 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £28,000 Basic Salary) 
·Vehicle Technician - £39,730 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £31,000 Basic Salary) 
·Brand Qualified Technician - £42,445 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £34,000 Basic Salary + HVE Qualification) 
·Senior / Diagnostic Technician - £45,885 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £38,000 Basic Salary + HVE Qualification) 
·Master Technician - £51,156 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £43,000 Basic Salary + HVE Qualification) 
  
THE ROLE 
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a key role within the workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards. 
Key responsibilities include: 
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work 
·Completing vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology 
·Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults 
·Carrying out repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards 
·Identifying additional work and reporting findings accurately 
·Completing workshop documentation and job cards 
·Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to maximise efficiency and productivity 
·Delivering exceptional workmanship and first-class customer service 
  
ABOUT YOU 
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate: 
·NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair 
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry 
·Experience gained in either a franchised dealership or independent garage 
·Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills 
·Previous Audi or Volkswagen Group experience is advantageous but not essential, as full manufacturer training will be provided 
·A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop 
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship 
·Full UK Manual Driving Licence
