Advanced Technology Powertrain Test Technician - F1/Motorsport

Brixworth, Northamptonshire
This contract is an amazing opportunity to work with our multiple F1 championship winning engineering team on high performance automotive and motorsport e-motors and ICE. The person that secures this position will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its Advanced Technology and F1 projects.
This Advanced Technology Powertrain Test Technician role will be working as a contractor initially up until the end of December 2026.
The required shifts on this role are Monday to Friday. There are a number of possible shifts available and flexibility is important.

What you will do

Run endurance, pass off and performance test
Run performance tests
Attend to any stoppages, restart if possible and log issues
Provide data to engineers for analysis
Support with dyno conversion
Support Test engineering within electrical and mechanical sections
Support Product Validation engineering group
What you will need:

Previous engine test experience on either internal combustion or electric powertrain systems on dynos
Stable career history
Willingness to work on shifts and independently for extended periods
