Empowering Learning is actively recruiting Thrive Teachers on behalf of schools across the region. Demand for skilled Thrive practitioners is high and we have schools ready to interview now.
Who We Are Looking For
This is a specialist role and we are looking for candidates who have genuine, hands-on Thrive experience - not just an interest in the approach.
You will need:
Thrive Practitioner qualification or significant experience delivering Thrive in a school setting
A strong understanding of attachment theory, emotional regulation and trauma-informed practice
Experience supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, SEMH or challenging behaviours
The ability to build trusted, consistent relationships with pupils who find school difficult
Confident working with families, SENCOs and external agencies
QTS or equivalent desirable - though we welcome applicants from a support staff background with the right experience
Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
What Roles Are Available
We are placing Thrive Teachers and Thrive Practitioners across:
Mainstream primary and secondary schools
SEN and SEMH specialist settings
Alternative provision and PRUs
Nurture groups and inclusion unitsRoles available on a day-to-day, long-term and permanent basis - immediate starts and September available.
