Job Description

Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Leicestershire, LE18
Shift: Rotating AM/PM (37 hours per week)
Pay: £18.30 per hour incl. shift allowance

The Company:

A specialised manufacturer in both precision aerospace components and large industrial gas turbine parts, making us a trusted supplier to key industries across the globe.

The TIG Welder Role:

Provide welding support on a range of industrial components in line with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Completion of TIG welding tasks in line with Customer specification
Completion of critical tube welding tasks, welding of vanes to vanes
Inspection of work to ensure compliance with strict quality standards
Using a range of air tools to perform work tasks
Completion of all necessary paperwork (i.e batch cards)
Understanding of basic Engineering drawings and method specifications.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety. 

About You:

Must have proven experience of TIG welding
Experience of working in a fast-paced Manufacturing / Engineering environment
Experience of using hand / air tools
Ability to understand method specifications and basic engineering drawings
Experience of using measuring systems to ensure quality adherence
