Job Description

Job Introduction 

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee IT Support Technician to join our busy IT Department at our Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.

Basic salary of £26,500 plus benefits.

Role and Responsibilities

Setting up user logins for in house systems and creating ID cards for new staff
Closing access for staff who are leaving
Ensuring the internal company directory is kept up to date
Troubleshooting & resolving 1st Line IT issues.
Logging and managing IT support tickets to completion or escalating to 2nd line support.
Administering internal systems to assist in the smooth running of the department day-to-day.Full training will be provided, but a good knowledge of the following would be preferable. 

Windows 11.
Microsoft Office 365.
iOS & Android.The following skills would be desirable.

Strong troubleshooting skills, with a logical and methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with users of varying levels of IT knowledge.
Excellent telephone manner and active listening skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a small team.What we offer
