This job is advertised on behalf of our client.
We are currently looking for a trainee setting out engineer for a reputable civils and groundworks contractor in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out topographical surveys with GPS and Total Station survey equipment.
* Carry out As Built surveys on site for Shuttering’s, Steel Reinforcement, Sub-base levels etc. prior to concrete pour.
* Setting up and maintaining site control points.
* Setting out of sites for a variety of constructs.
* Positioning HD bolts for steel frame buildings.
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other staff.
* Carrying out Quality Control and ensuring records are maintained.
* Ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all time.
* Any other site task as required
* Training will be provided for all aspect of works
It is essential to be degree qualified and CSCS trained.
45 Hours a week as standard, this can fluctuate depending on project requirements.
Experience
* Have good understanding of technical construction drawings.
* Experienced in CAD.
* Good Knowledge in Site Safety practices.
