We are recruiting for dedicated and dynamic Trainers on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with training leaders to develop and deliver engaging training programmes to meet industry standards and legal requirements.
This is a permanent opportunity and will require extensive travel throughout the UK. This will include training on site for a variety of clients as well as remote and class room based training.
Typically training programmes run for 2-4 days, when delivering on site for a client you will be expected to stay overnight for which expenses and TOIL are covered. Typically you will spend one week traveling and one week either home or office based.
Duties
* Conduct training sessions both in-person and virtually, ensuring content is accessible and engaging for diverse audiences.
* Support learners with assessment and provide feedback and further development.
* Support the team with course design and updates for legislation and changes to formal qualifications.
* Mentor employees by providing ongoing support and feedback to facilitate skill development.
* Create and update training materials, presentations, and assessments that align with organisational goals.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback and performance metrics, making improvements as necessary.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in learning & development, including utilisation of Salesforce for client-related training modules.
Experience
* Proven experience in designing and delivering corporate training programmes, ideally within Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment or Health and Safety.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently.
* Demonstrated mentoring ability with a focus on fostering professional growth among employees.
* Experience in teaching or instructional roles is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with utilisation of presentation tools such as PowerPoint or similar platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to adapt content for various audiences across the organisation. Ideally you will hold Level 3 Assessor qualification or be prepared to work towards this.
