Job Description

Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Clerk, working for our client based in Radcliffe, Manchester. 
 
Shift Times: 7pm - 7am with overtime available. 
 
PAYE Rates are Per Hour: 
Weekdays - between 6am - 6pm £12.71 between 6pm and 9:30pm £13.18 
Weekday lates - 6pm and 9:30pm £13.18 
Weeknight - between 9:30pm to 6am £14.38 an hour 
Saturday Day - between 6am and 6pm £22.97 
Saturday day lates - between 6pm and 9:30pm £14.38 
Saturday night - between 9:30pm and 6am £15.58 per hour 
 
Shift Premiums: 
 - 10% Late Shift Premium (16:00 - 22:00) 
 - 20% Night Shift Premium (22:00 - 04:00) 
 - 10% Weekend Shift Premium 
 - Overtime is payable at OTx1.25

Your Time at Work 
The candidate will be working in a dynamic transport environment situated in a transport office, coordinating the administration activities that will accompany the movements of products across the United Kingdom. 
The right candidates will have the potential for career progression. 
Main accountabilities to include but not be limited to: 
- Plan, organise and control activities related to transportation 
- Following Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law, always acting with integrity and due diligence 
- Completing a full handover and sharing all relevant information 
- Answering Telephones via Distribution Direct to answer any store queries and input them onto the online log 
- Completing on time all reports and sending to the relevant people 
- Giving Drivers at the start of their journey their pre-brief 
- Investigating any route or time discrepancies on de-brief 
 
Our Perfect Worker 
The ideal candidate will have the following skill base: 
- Computer based systems, Outlook, Excel 
- Previous office work is essential 
- Telephone communications 
- One to one communication with Drivers 
- Good command of English language is a necessity 
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
