Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

Summary: 
 We are seeking an organised, proactive, and adaptable Transport Planner to join our busy multi-drop distribution operation covering London and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for planning efficient delivery routes, managing daily transport activities and ensuring compliance. 

This is a Monday - Friday role, working Monday - Thursday 10am - 7pm and Friday 9am - 6pm (1 hour break). 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan multi-drop delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer service level agreements.
Ensure compliance to legislative requirements including Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
Work closely with the team of Drivers, conducting briefs and de-briefs, managing their workloads and resolving any driver queries.
Support the Transport Manager with compliance, audits and reporting.
Liaise with the wider team to support transport activities and ensure that an excellent service is delivered to customers.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and route efficiency.
 Experience:

Previous experience in a planning role within a fast-paced transport operation, ideally within a multi-drop environment.
Good geographical knowledge of London and the South of England.
Knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
Good IT skills including use of Excel and transport management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to liaise with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
High levels of organisation and problem-solving skills.Processing Your Data
