Vehicle Technician

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm!

Up to £45,000 Basic Salary!

Well-Established, Stable, Independent Garage!

Orpington Area

A long-established, well-respected independent workshop is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a business known for its quality workmanship and loyal customer base.

The site handles a varied mix of cars, vans and small minibuses, offering a hands-on role with plenty of variety and no weekend work.

Responsibilities

  * Carry out diagnostics, servicing and general repairs across a range of vehicles

  * Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostic testing

  * Complete mechanical work including clutches, cambelts, timing chains, brakes, tyres and exhausts

  * Maintain accurate records and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

  * Assist with MOT testing where qualified (beneficial but not essential)

Requirements

  * Minimum of 5 years’ workshop experience

  * Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

  * Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities

  * Confident working independently within a traditional, hands-on environment

  * Full UK driving licence

Salary and Benefits

  * £36,000–£45,000 per year, dependent on experience

  * Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (no weekends)

  * Supportive team environment
