Job Description

Vehicle Technician Required, in Scunthorpe:

Our client in Scunthorpe is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Vehicle Technicians and those in the early stages of their automotive careers looking to specialise as a prep tech or PDI Technician. The position has arisen due to ongoing growth, with the workshop consistently booked in advance.

Benefits: 

Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience
Flexibility with part-time hours and shift patterns
No weekend work unless overtime is desired
Choice of working Saturdays – optional
25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to a high standard
Perform vehicle pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and preparation work
Work efficiently within a busy workshop with various vehicle marques
Maintain high-quality standards whilst meeting deadlines
Assist in other workshop tasks as required
Follow health and safety procedures at all timesRequirements: 

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, from apprenticeship to fully qualified levels
Alternatively, early-stage technicians seeking to specialise in prep or PDI work are encouraged to apply
Full UK driving licence
Own set of tools
