Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities for Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct routine maintenance services in line with manufacturer guidelines
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools
* Carry out complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and brake work
* Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently
* Ensure all work is performed to the highest standard while following health and safety procedures
* Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and training
* Provide excellent customer service, explaining repair recommendations clearly
Skills and Qualifications for Vehicle Technician:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Dealership Experience (Essential)
* Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic techniques
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or similar recognised qualification
* Experience working across multiple vehicle makes and models
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
