Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, a reputable automotive business in Chelmsford, Essex.
 
Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:

Competitive basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Standard company pension scheme
Holiday entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays, with options to increase up to 25 days for experienced technicians
No Saturday working
Supportive working environment with professional standardsDuties of the Vehicle Technician:

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
Carry out scheduled maintenance and service work in line with manufacturer standards
Complete vehicle inspections and quality checks to required standards
Advise customers on necessary repairs and recommended maintenance
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Keep the workshop clean, safe, and compliant with operational proceduresRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Service Technician or higher, with relevant skills for this technician role
Full UK driving licence
Own toolkit required
Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
