Job Description

Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in North Bristol, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional workshop team. This Vehicle Technician role offers excellent career development opportunities within a well-established dealership network.

Starting salary between £32,000 and £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience and MOT licence
Uncapped performance-related bonus scheme of approximately £6,000 per year, paid monthly

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on all makes and models, adhering to manufacturer standards
Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings effectively to the Service Manager
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards as specified by our client and vehicle manufacturers
Complete all repairs, inspections, and servicing within set timescales
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
Complete relevant documentation accurately and efficientlyVehicle Technician Requirements:

Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
At least 1-2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
Own set of tools
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Ability to produce high-quality workmanship under pressure
Strong team player with a proactive attitude
Candidates with prior experience in a franchise-approved dealership are preferred but not essential
