Job Description

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable automotive business in Horley, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a well-established team that values quality workmanship and staff development.

Benefits: 

Competitive basic salary of £40,000 per annum
Potential on-target earnings (OTE) of up to £45,000
Profit sharing scheme offering additional commission between £200 and £600 per month
Monday to Friday working hours, with every other Saturday morning

Long-term, stable employment within a reputable companyDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct vehicle diagnostics and repairs to high standards
Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle makes and models
Perform routine maintenance such as cambelts, clutches, and mechanical repairs
Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines
Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customersRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical repair knowledge
Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles is desirable
Relevant industry certifications or qualifications, such as NVQ or equivalent
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
