Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join their well-established workshop in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking a reputable dealership environment, offering varied workload and career development opportunities.

Benefits: 

Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Over time available at time and half, with optional Saturday overtime
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Immediate start available for the right individual

Work independently on servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
Engage in PDI / Sales work, preparing vehicles for retailDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Servicing and maintaining a variety of prestige and other vehicles to high standards
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, including clutches, timing chains, and suspension components
Conducting PDI and sales preparation to ensure vehicles meet retail standards
Performing general mechanical repairs in accordance with OEM guidelines
Working independently to complete allocated jobs efficiently and safely
Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
Providing excellent customer service through high standards of workmanshipRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with approximately three to five years' post-apprenticeship experience
Proven experience in servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on prestige vehicles
Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
Strong diagnostic skills and effective problem-solving abilities
