Job Advert Mencap is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Waking Night Support Worker on a Part-time, permanent basis in Borehamwood. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You will support a diverse group of individuals, each with unique needs and abilities, providing both practical assistance and emotional support throughout the night. Key Responsibilities: Provide support with daily living activities Offer consistent emotional reassurance and care Promote independence and dignity at all timesWhat We Are Looking For: A genuine passion for supporting others Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships A flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and holidays A positive, empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilitiesContract Details: Part-time: 20 hours per weekShift Pattern: Waking night shifts between 10:00pm and 7:00am Services operate 24 hours a day; rotas are provided at least four weeks in advance to support work-life balanceAll roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
