Job Description

Leatherhead based ** £15.50ph ** Parking ** Temp on-going

Your role will be varied and involve;

  * Unpacking and inspecting condition of goods.

  * Checking quantities, part numbers and description are correct to purchase order.

  * Completion of Goods Received Notes GRN’s.

  * Recording GRN entries in a manual log book

  * Ensuring that Goods are stored temporarily in a defined location

  * Manually update part location record cards where required

  * Pass a copy of the GRN to the intended recipient in a timely manner

  * Use of modular paternoster to store and pick goods

  * Selecting parts listed on dispatch notes from defined store locations in accordingly, including the mechanical vertical lift.

  * Manually update part location record cards where required

  * Recording item serial numbers where required

  * Packing parts for safe transit, both for domestic and export orders.

  * Computer despatching of Goods on the DX Freight online system

  * To record and file all stores records as required.

  * To assist or operate the fork lift as required.

  * Assist with warehouse task

Person Specification:

  * Experience in a similar role

  * Fork lift license would be an advantage

  * Able to work to strict deadlines

  * Ability to prioritise

  * Capable under pressure

  * Articulate, confident and numerate

Additional Information:

  * Based in Leatherhead

  * 37.5 hours a week

  * £15.50ph

  * Holiday pay and pension

  * Onsite parking
