Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start

Frontline Recruitment are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution environment in Sutton in Ashfield (NG17).

💷 Pay Rate

£12.21 per hour

🕒 Working Hours

Monday – Friday
5:00pm – 1:30am (night shift finish)

📌 Job Role Includes

  * 

    Loading vehicles accurately and efficiently for next-day delivery, ensuring parcels are scanned, sorted, and placed in the correct sequence to maintain route order and prevent damage

  * 

    Sorting and moving packaging and freight using scanning technology

  * 

    Working in line with all Health & Safety requirements

  * 

    Operating in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

  * 

    Maintaining a clean and organised working area

  * 

    Working effectively as part of a team and independently when needed

  * 

    Completing an on-site induction

🧩 Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For

  * 

    Strong attention to detail to ensure correct loading and accurate parcel handling

  * 

    Good physical fitness – role involves lifting, carrying, and manual handling

  * 

    Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members

  * 

    Reliability and good timekeeping – essential for night shift work

  * 

    Problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with missing labels or routing issues

  * 

    Basic IT/scanner skills for using handheld devices

  * 

    Positive attitude and willingness to support the team

  * 

    Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential
