Our client provides services to the offshore energy industry, in particular to offshore wind farms.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be the backbone of their project ‐ warehouse operations. Working both independently and as part of a tight ‐ knit team you will manage stock levels, purchase from approved suppliers, inspect and maintain equipment, and keep our inventory and asset ‐ tracking system up ‐ to ‐ date.
Duties will include:
Receive, store and organise incoming stock and project materials.
Maintain accurate stock records using the company inventory and asset ‐ stocking software.
Purchase items from approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
Inspect, tag and service lifting equipment and PFPE in line with training.
Carry out regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Liaise with the Warehouse Manager and other departments to support project timelines.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe and compliant with health ‐ and ‐ safety standards.
You should have:
Minimum 5 years in a similar warehouse or stock ‐ control role.
Dangerous Goods handling – land and sea.
Forklift licence (any class).
Full clean driving licence.
Good IT competence – comfortable with inventory software.
Experience of purchasing and supplier management.
You will receive:
Full instruction on the company inventory and asset ‐ stocking software.
Practical training for inspection of lifting equipment and PFPE.
