Warehouse Operative

Shepshed | £12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm

Are you looking for a new opportunity within a warehouse environment?

Our client, based in Shepshed, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking to work as part of a friendly and supportive warehouse team.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

You will work as part of a team to help maintain a safe, tidy and organised warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming goods.
Pick and pack orders accurately.
Prepare goods for dispatch.
Load and unload deliveries safely.
Move stock around the warehouse as required.
Assist with stock checks and inventory counts.
Ensure stock is stored correctly.
Maintain good standards of warehouse housekeeping.
Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.
Use PPE and warehouse equipment correctly.
Report any damaged goods, stock issues or safety concerns.
Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Carry out any other general warehouse duties as required.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
A reliable and hardworking approach.
Good attention to detail.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good timekeeping and attendance.
The ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
A commitment to working safely.
A forklift licence would be desirable but is not essential.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Success in the role will include:

Accurate picking and packing.
Supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Maintaining stock accuracy.
Meeting daily workloads and deadlines.
Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
Following health & safety procedures.
Working positively and effectively as part of the warehouse team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm
