Warehouse Operator (Nightshift)

4 days on, 4 days off - 6pm - 6am

Snodland, Kent

Alexander Steele are delighted to be supporting a successful manufacturing business in the search for a Nightshift Warehouse Operator.

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will support the efficient movement of goods and materials across the site while working closely with Production, Engineering, QA, and Hygiene teams.

Responsibilities

  * Customer order picking.

  * Loading and unloading vehicles.

  * Receiving goods and storing stock in warehouse locations.

  * Picking materials and ingredients for production.

  * Putting away finished goods from production into racking.

  * Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

  * Providing cover for team members when required.

  * Supporting other departments as needed.

  * Completing general ad hoc warehouse duties.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  * Previous warehouse experience.

  * Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift Truck licences with practical experience.

  * Experience using stock control systems and basic computer skills.

  * Understanding of stock accuracy and record keeping.

  * Flexible approach to shifts, overtime, and holiday cover.

  * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  * Experience handling palletised goods in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
