Job Description

Our client based in Bedford are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor for their day shift.

The role will involve:-

  * To ensure prompt action is taken with any complaints that arise from neglect of any of the parts of the warehouse process and investigate immediately

  * To ensure at all times the warehouse is kept in a safe and tidy condition

  * To ensure stock received is verified in correlation with supplier documentation and the purchase order to ensure accuracy of goods and paperwork

  * To process stock in a logical order based on when it is received and other requirements in the RDC

  * To ensure no goods leave the goods in holding area without being checked and booked in on our internal WMS system

  * To ensure all supplier deliveries are unloaded in a safe and efficient manner

  * To sign for deliveries ensuring accuracy of information

  * To check deliveries for any noticeable transit damage and ensure any damage is noted on delivery paperwork prior to signing

  * To collate all delivery paperwork including invoices and forward onto the buying and accounts team on a daily basis

  * To train and motivate staff and implement any improvements necessary in the goods in process

  * Inventory Integrity: Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure 100% accuracy against manifests

  * 25 days annual leave (Not Including bank holidays)
