Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Ilford, Greater London

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits

A successful and growing Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites around / within the M25. You will be covering a range of commercial and local authority contracts across the region. Applicants must be proficient in performing a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance tasks, including: showerhead descales, TMV servicing, water sampling, outlet flushes. There are fantastic opportunities for training, in addition to overtime earning. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: fleet vehicle, fuel card, annual leave and pension scheme.

Locations of work include: Ilford, Barking, Romford, Hornchurch, Billericay, Grays, Tilbury, Chigwell, Epping, Enfield, Potters Bar, Harlow, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Beaconsfield, Slough, Windsor, Southall, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames, Woking, Croydon, Epsom, Caterham, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Erith, Dartford, Sidcup, Gravesend, Snodland.

Experience / Qualifications:

  * Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

  * Robust technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

  * Able to work independently on site when needed

  * Good literacy and numeracy skills

  * Confident using IT software

  * Hardworking attitude

The Role:

  * Showerhead and outlet descales

  * TMV inspections, servicing and failsafe checks

  * Calorifier inspections and blowdowns

  * Basic flushing on outlets

  * Calorifier inspections

  * Tank cleans and disinfections

  * Water sampling

  * Temperature monitoring

  * Completing regular service reports
