Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £35k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a privately-owned Water Hygiene / Water Treatment specialist, with a stronghold in the Yorkshire region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a range of commercial and domestic sites across the region. Our client provides a variety of services to clients (including plumbing and equipment support) so there are excellent opportunities to train within the industry. Experience / Qualifications:

  * Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

  * Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

  * Ideally will hold industry courses / qualifications (i.e. Legionella Awareness, TMV servicing)

  * Flexible to travel with changing company needs

  * Good literacy and numeracy skill level

  * IT literate

The Role:

  * Showerhead descales

  * TMV servicing and maintenance

  * Acid descales

  * Flushing on little used outlets

  * Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks

  * Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring

  * Keeping a record of works undertaken

  * Adhering to set deadlines
