MIG and TIG Welder – Job Vacancy in Leicester

Our client, a well-established leader is looking for experienced MIG and TIG Welders to join their team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled welders to contribute to high-quality fabrication and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and TIG welding on a range of metals, including  e.g., stainless steel, aluminum,

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the correct welding techniques and materials.

Ensure that all welds meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Inspect finished welds for defects and carry out any necessary repairs.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all safety procedures.

Safely operate welding equipment and tools to complete projects efficiently.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Requirements:

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (minimum 5 years preferred).

Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and team-working skills.
