The Role
Provide high-quality pastoral and wellbeing support to students across the college.
Offer one-to-one guidance, signposting, and early intervention to students experiencing wellbeing, emotional, or social difficulties.
Work with safeguarding leads and external agencies when required to ensure student safety and support.
Deliver workshops, drop-in sessions, and wellbeing initiatives that promote positive mental health.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of whole-college wellbeing strategies.
Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support teams, and leadership to foster an inclusive and nurturing college environment.

Key Requirements
Experience in a wellbeing, pastoral, safeguarding, counselling, or student support role (college or school setting desirable).
Strong understanding of young people’s mental health, safeguarding procedures, and effective support strategies.
Empathetic, patient, and able to build trust quickly with students.
Excellent communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills.
A proactive, adaptable individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people’s wellbeing.
