We are seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Merthyr Tydfil. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils across the school, helping to deliver high-quality learning experiences through the medium of Welsh.
✨ Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils' learning in Welsh across Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging activities
Provide 1:1 and small-group support where needed
Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Promote the use of Welsh across the school day
✔️ Essential:
Fluent Welsh speaker
A genuine passion for working with children
Good communication and teamwork skills
⭐ Desirable:
Experience in a school setting
