Workshop Engineer / Forklift Engineer  
 Salary: £35,000 – £41,000 + performance-related bonus + company benefits 
Location: Wimborne, Dorset
Type: permanent, Monday to Friday (40 hours, flexible between 7am – 5pm)

Techniche Global are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer / Forklift Engineer to join a well-established materials handling company based in Wimborne, Dorset.

 This is a workshop-based role where you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining forklift trucks and a wide range of materials handling equipment, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

 The Role
 You will carry out planned servicing and reactive repairs in line with repair schedules, diagnose faults, and ensure all equipment is returned to full working order. You’ll work closely with the Workshop Manager, managing job priorities, and ensuring all work is completed safely and cost-effectively. Maintaining accurate records, tracking job progress, and keeping the workshop organised and compliant with health and safety standards will be key parts of your role.
 
Requirements
  
Strong mechanical/engineering background with hands-on experience 
Proven experience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment 
Full UK driving licence  Company benefits:
