As a Workshop Engineer, you will benefit from:

Overtime paid at x1.5 after 9 hours per day
Twice‑annual team bonus, typically £200 to £1,000

As a Workshop Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of materials handling equipment in line with workshop instructions
Identifying and reporting additional faults requiring attention
Monitoring job boards and job cards to ensure work is prioritised correctly
Tracking time and costs allocated to jobs to ensure economical repair outcomes
Keeping personal and company tools clean, organised, and maintained
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised workshop area in line with Health and Safety requirements
As a Workshop Engineer, your experience will include:

A strong engineering background with hands‑on mechanical expertise
Experience with materials handling equipment, forklift trucks, or transferable skills from plant machinery, agricultural engineering, or similar mechanical environments
A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices
The ability to work independently and follow structured repair processes
Strong organisation and attention to detail in technical environments
