Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 3) - Havering
Full-Time | Immediate Start | £95-£110 per day
A welcoming primary school in Havering is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class, with a strong focus on SEN support.
You'll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups, helping them stay engaged and make progress in the classroom.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is patient, proactive and confident supporting early learners.
The role:
Supporting a Year 1 class
Working 1:1 and in small groups with SEN pupils
Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy
Supporting behaviour and engagement in class
The school is looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
Has experience supporting SEN pupils
Is confident in KS1 settings, particularly Year 1
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Is reliable, adaptable and keen to contribute
