Year 2 Class Teacher

Full Time | Permanent | MPS 1-4 | Start Date: September 2026

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team from September 2026.

Our school is a Good Ofsted-rated, two-form entry primary school in the heart of Newhaven, where children are at the centre of everything we do. We are proud of our welcoming, inclusive community and our commitment to providing an engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

  * Is a passionate and reflective classroom practitioner.

  * Has high expectations for all children and a commitment to helping every pupil achieve their potential.

  * Creates inspiring, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.

  * Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.

  * Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

  * Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum (experience in Year 2 is desirable but not essential).

  * Hold QTS (ECTs welcome to apply!)
