Job Vacancy- Year 2 Teacher

Location - Primary School (Walsden) 
 Start Date: April 2026
 Salary: £100-£190 a day depending on experience 
 Role: Year 2 Class Teacher 
 
 Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A school in Walsden, is seeking a passionate educator to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners within a supportive and inspiring school environment. The school is two formed entry, and each class has a Teaching Assistant.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the development of every child.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure high levels of achievement.
Promote a love of learning and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate:

Experienced Teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply. 
Experience teaching in KS1, preferably in Year 2.
Has previously had experience teaching high quality Phonics.
A commitment to delivering high-quality education and pastoral care.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
