About the Role:
As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed. You'll create a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
Assess and track progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
Foster positive behaviour and a supportive classroom culture.
Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership to enhance pupil outcomes.
Uphold safeguarding and inclusion policies at all times.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 desirable).
Excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
