Year 4 Teacher

At Teaching Personnel, we collaborate with nurturing schools where you’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on young learners and contribute to their education through the KS2 National Curriculum. Supportive schools in SK16 are looking for a Year 4 teacher for the new academic year. The role will initially be on a temporary basis as the schools want to ensure that the right candidate can work collaboratively with their school and the class.

Job Type: Full- Time

What does the role entail?

The teacher will be expected to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that align with both school guidelines and the KS2 National Curriculum. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment that supports student learning. The role involves promoting student well-being, encouraging positive behaviour, and maintaining clear communication with fellow staff members and parents. We require the teacher to be able to adapt to the needs, behaviours and abilities of the class and ensure all children are catered for across the curriculum.

What are we looking for?

Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification, with prior experience teaching across Key Stage 2. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, flexible attitude and demonstrate confident classroom management to deliver stimulating and effective lessons. An enhanced DBS registered on the update service is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
