Full-Time Year 5 Class Teacher Location: Radcliffe Start Date: September 2026 Contract: 2 terms initially, with a view to staying on Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm Salary: Competitive pay, dependent on experience A warm and inclusive Church of England primary school in Radcliffe is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and contributing positively to a supportive school community. In this role, you will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support them in achieving their full potential. Key Responsibilities Include: • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and motivated • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress in line with school policies • Working closely with teaching assistants, phase leaders, and wider staff • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities • Upholding the school’s Christian values and promoting the ethos of the Church of England community • Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers to support pupil development This role would suit a committed, organised, and reflective practitioner with strong curriculum knowledge and excellent behaviour management skills.
